Web, Software
I must say, nothing really angers me more while I’m browsing the internet than when a website resizes my browser window. It’s like a pet peeve. I just hate resizing it. I use Firefox, so I’ve been looking for a quick fix that won’t allow websites to do this. I couldn’t find it in the Firefox preferences anywhere, and it was starting to get on my nerves. But, to my avail, I just found it!
Here is how to prevent sites from resizing your Firefox window…
1. Open Firefox, Preferences (or if you’re on Windows…Tools, Options)
2. Go to the Content Tab
3. To the right of “Enable Javascript” hit “Advanced…”.
4. Uncheck “Move or Resize Existing Windows”
That’s it…
